Behavior Technician

Foothills Behavior Specialist is hiring experienced and enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to provide one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with social and communication deficits in home, clinic, and school settings. Come join our amazing team!

We are currently hiring for part-time and possibly full time (if desired) in Maple Valley and the surrounding areas. We are looking for therapists who are available to work M-F between the hours of 7am and 7pm. Weekends and Holidays are never required!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality 1:1 instruction to children with deficits in communication, social, play, and adaptive skills

  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs

  • Record objective daily data to reflect client progress toward goals

  • Maintain objective daily session notes

  • Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors

  • Ensure that the client is in a safe and positive environment at all times.

  • Follows the policies and procedures of Foothills Behavior Specialists.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age

  • High School Graduate (college preferred)

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in ABA (preferred)

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Proof of insurance

  • 40 hours of ABA Training

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification strongly preferred

  • Verifiable references

  • Ability to pass criminal background check

  • Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
