The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) services in the home and clinical setting. The BCBA will be supported by at least 2 BCaBAs in many aspects of the job, such as intakes, the data gathering process, the maintenance of records, and the administration of specific assessments, supervision, and much more. You also have the support of the owner of the company and the two office managers who handle all administrative aspects of the process.

The BCBA is also responsible for adhering to professional and legal requirements and principles at all times.


Responsibilities of the BCBA may include:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments & recommending positive behavior supports for children with Autism Spectrum and other related disorders

  • Design individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings

  • Provide support and training for staff in use of ABA strategies and procedures

  • Manage caseloads, prepare and submit all required documentation to office managers in a timely manner

  • Ensure all treatment methodologies used are evidence-based and reflect the most recent research findings

  • Collaborate with families in the development of behavior support strategies

  • Review and evaluate the performance of the direct care staff member to ensure the proper implementation of treatment plan

  • Make data based decisions

  • Monitor client progress and update treatment plans at least every 6 months

  • Conduct re-assessments as necessary to monitor client progress.

  • Assist and support with some BT-related corrective actions as they apply to the clinical aspect.



  • Master’s Degree from an Accredited University

  • Valid BCBA certification from the BACB

  • Valid LBA with the WA State DOH

  • 2+ years’ experience working with children with developmental disabilities and maladaptive behaviors

  • Highly organized and capable of working independently

  • Valid driver’s license and insurance

  • Reliable transportation

  • Verifiable references

  • Ability to pass WSP background check
